About

As a long-term and rather cynical Christian, as well as a busy working woman, my prayer life can sometimes be non-existent. This blog gathers together brief prayers which mean something to me, and perhaps also to God. I hope you find them helpful and some may also make you smile.

My Christian belief is that God is a God of love (though His people may not be) and welcomes GLBTQ and straight people with equal and unbridled enthusiasm. I am also a strong supporter of same-sex and opposite-sex marriage, as God basically likes marriage a great deal and welcomes everyone to this great blessing (no matter what His church may think).

Bio: Anne Brooke lives in Surrey, UK, and writes in a variety of genres, including gay erotic romance, fantasy, comedy, thrillers, biblical fiction and the occasional chicklit novel. When not writing, she spends time in the garden attempting to differentiate between flowers and weeds, and in the allotment attempting to grow vegetables. Occasionally, she can also be found in the kitchen making cakes. Every now and again, they are edible.

Her websites can be found at:

and http://www.gathandria.com (for fantasy fiction).
